The Acadiana Area Human Services District provides behavioral health and developmental disabilities services to a seven parish area either directly or through our contractors. All services provided are internationally accredited at the highest level.

We provide outpatient behavioral health services for children, adolescents, and adults including crisis intervention, intensive outpatient services, and prevention services for mental health and substance use disorders.

Under the developmental disabilities services, our staff conducts an intake and determines an appropriate plan of care/services, which is provided by our contractors. Services are monitored by AAHSD.

Our behavioral health offices are located in Crowley, Lafayette, New Iberia, Opelousas and Ville Platte. Each site is independently licensed as a behavioral health clinic. The developmental disability office is located in Lafayette. We practice contract services in seven parishes.
